Dante's Inferno Divine Edition for PlayStation 3 Reviews by Gamers

This game, in my opinion of course, is boring. You're guided along, and basically your job is to kill kill kill. There's no free roaming, just boring old hacking and slashing of "minions". But maybe I missed out, because I played for about 20 minutes, then promptly put it back in the gamefly sleeve and sent it back. I'm just going to hold out for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, because it's a sure thing.

Well this is a Xbox sponsored God of war Rip off minus the Fun and Challenge. I might as well say minus the Compelling story, matter of fact Minus the GOOD. What sets God of war apart from most action games is complex and challenging Traversing,Combat and Puzzles. Dante does all these things just like GOW but in a far limited scope. First off if you can launch your enemy's you can beat every enemy in the game in a quick fashion. Add some pointless magic and upgrades that you rarely need. There is almost No boss battles and the Few that they have are so Easy. the Puzzles are some of the most simple puzzles I have seen in gaming thus far and traversing comes down to jumping from rope to rope to sliding down from rope to rope throw in some fire every now and then for a change of effects. It's a easy game it's a boring game at time lets be honest its a lazy effort by Lazy developers that couldnt even come up with there own IP.

I was really suprised by the story, you figure Dante's inferno this should be good. Man it was a simple, cliche generic Save the girl story. I will call this what it is, this is a attempted cash grab on the popularity of God of war. If you fall for it your a chump. Rental.
