I rented this a few months back and noticed that a couple on here gave it above a 5. I am warning you now not to rent this. The graphics are not good, the gameplay can be likened to a game created 10 years ago. There are parts where you have push a button combination at certain times and it is just real stupid. When I rented this I was looking for lush graphics of the Louvre, etc and it just didn't look good. This is your warning.

I gave it a 6 because the game play was ok. The puzzles were good except the chryptex are very hard. You can only do one thing at a time eg: hold a weapon; talk to some one; look at something; go thu a door; drag a body. The fighting is a new way to me, but defending is too hard. If you like the book or movie you might find it interesting, it has the same story line with some added parts. It does give you a good amount of history on people, places, and art.

I looked forward to playing this. I like these type of game where you solve puzzles. Unfortunately, there were a couple of major flaws that made the game unplayable to me. First was the combat. Even at the easy setting, I couldn't get the character to respond quick enough, so more often than not, I kept having to defend. I spend way too much time on the fighting, instead of puzzle-solving. The saving problem though really made the game awful. After 2 hours of playing, I saved the game and turned it off. I came back later to find that I was back at the beginning of the 2 hours I had spent. Nothing I had done or collected was saved after the checkpoint. What's the point of saving anytime when it only saves the checkpoints? Never even made it past the first mission. Very disappointing.
