Dante continues his trend of mind numbing hack and slash, over the top stylish gun- and swordplay and general badassery that have made Devil May Cry a hit for the past decade.
While the first thing people notice about this game has always been and will always be about Dante's new look, it doesn't stop there. He retains everything else that made him the icon he was while spanning four games and two console generations, plus an HD Collection (not to mention the bane of Ryu and Deadpool in MvC3). I can't say much for the story as I haven't played all the way through this one yet, but the combat plays true to the series core, mixing several different weapons at once and doing it with all the style that white-haired Dante copyrighted years ago, and that's what really matters.
If you are sensitive to flashing lights, then this is not game for you. I couldn't play for 30 mins before starting to get sick feeling.
from the very start its very bad with the strobe effects. Its actually overkill how much they use it.
Game play is not to bad. If your a die hard fan you will probably enjoy it. I really love the series. But being sensitive to flashing lights made the game unplayable for me. It was just to much to deal with.
