Great Reboot

I was hesitant at the new look and direction of the game but after playing the game, it's great! The story is very entertaining and Dante still have the same cool attitude.

The game play is very addictive. The whip mechanism makes the platforming and combat very fun that adds a strong element to the game. You have to pull enemies shields to attack them. Use demon weapon to attack red enemies and angel weapon to attack blue enemies. It adds strategy to the game where you must approach combat in a different way. The boss fights are unique and fun. The bosses themselves are funny and grotesque characters.

I played through every mode and finally beat Dante Must Die mode. There is plenty of replay and collectibles. Game gets a 9. I hope there is a sequel.

Okay, IF your a Devil May Cry fan then chances are your gonna LOVE DMC. They remade the WHOLE story and let me just say that it works! I just got the game yesterday and Ive played about 2 missions so far and this is one of the VERY FEW games that makes me want to call the makers of the game and tell them what a GREAT job they did on it. The graphics are what you would expect from any Devil May Cry game and so is Dante's fighting style. I still have yet to reach Dante's demon form but Ive unlocked 4 new weapons already and its almost to easy to use all your weapons in any combo your fingers are quick enough to pull off. Usually in previous Devil May Cry games you could only kill your opponets with 4 or 5 combos and it was very hard to pull of combos with 2 diff weapons. That is not the case for DMC. Also the story line is very different. Dante has no idea who or what he is because he cant remember his childhood or anything. I wont spoil the story for you but in my opinion I think they did a GREAT job on DMC. Ill deff be buying this one instead of just renting it because from what Ive played through so far I already know that once I beat it I'll want to replay it over and over and over. If your a Devil May Cry fan then I HIGHLY recommend that you give DMC a chance. The first mission is a little slow but once you beat it then you will be hooked on this game for awhile.
