I really liked "DJ Hero". I thought it was a much needed change up to the increasing stagnency of the music genre. It definitely got old after a bit though, due to repetitive gameplay and a few not very well thought out mixes.
"DJ Hero 2" takes the good parts of the first game and smartly builds on it. I found (after I finished) that almost all the songs/mixes were very catchy, fun, and well thought out. Also, to ease the repetitive nature of the game, they've added a whole new "freestyle" element to the game that TOTALLY works. My biggest problem with the first game was that, as fun as it was, it didn't make me feel like a DJ at all. But "DJ Hero 2" and it's freestyle mode is the first time I've actually started to feel like a DJ while playing. It's very rewarding and fun.
"DJ Hero" didn't have nearly enough DLC, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the developers release a good ammount of downloadable songs for this sequel. My advice is definitely to play this game, it's mucho funo.
Pretty good game because they have about 50% more mixes then DJ Hero and there not mostly old school. The one thing i hate the most about this game is that the achievements are hard to get, they have 50 achievements but when your tired of playing the game you only got like 15.
Felt like the same to me, but I welcomed the change of more techno and trance songs which I typically look for in games like this. Other then that they leveled out the difficulty which was also a great thing to see. Soon as I see some more techno/trance songs Ill be sure to purchase this game so I can play it for years to come.

I like music games, but i hated this one, the songs almost all sucked! I didn't like the songs at all and lets face it on music games im sure your not going to like all the songs but some of them, i hated about 90% of the songs. It made the game suck
