This are many ups and some downs to Crysis 3. First off, the the campaign is much stronger and the characters have an incredible amount of depth when compared to the second game. However, the game only has 7 chapters as apposed to the 19 in Crysis 2 (it still takes a good amount of time to beat though). Much of the mechanics are the similar to the previous game, but Crysis 3 features many new weapons like the powerful bow, which can pin enemies to walls and obliterate them with explosive and electric arrow types. There are also the new abilities to fire any alien (there's a couple new crazy types of alien also) weapon you find as well as hacking enemy machines and sprinting without using energy. As for the multiplayer, it's pretty much the same, besides new games types like predator--which is self-explanatory. Overall, it's a great game which closes up the story quite nicely, and it has a fun online. I probably would rate it a 9 if the campaign was longer.

The controls are fluid and easy to use, I just wish there was more to the story, it makes no sense to me. Also where is New York in all of this. There is absolutely nothing recognizable. Too many cut scenes too. But overall it was enjoyable if not too short.
