When you first start it seems great, combat is fun, graphics are incredible and sounds a great. The first few missions take place in an overgrown new york which was so cool. But then about half way through the scenery takes a drastic turn, and it was a wrong turn. It went from really cool overgrowth to stereotypical dirt like every other FPS then you go underground which was just flat out stupid. The story was never anything special and it still isnt. One thing is the main character of Crysis 2, "Alcatrez" is no longer in this game. He like turned into prophet from Crysis 1 which was just the dumbest thing Ive ever heard. Sooooo stupid. Also the gameplay is good but flawed. For example you could be hiding in deep brush and tall grass in the shadows at night and people can still see you. Overall it was okay but compared to Crysis 2 it is pretty disappointing. 6/10 from me.

Looks Awesome, Slower Paced FPS

Playing this game in 3D was awesome, it simply looks amazing. But, Crysis isn't your typical run-and-gun style shooter. You need to be prepared to do a bit of thinking before you just rush into a fight.

The game is designed to have the player analyze the area first and then attack. Seems a little more suited for PC play with a keyboard and mouse rather than a controller due to all suit functions.

Weapons are pretty neat with the addition of the bow and such, but nothing too amazing.

Give it a shot if you're into FPS games in general and are looking for an alternative to a Call of Duty title.

all games unless a dedicated mulitplayer only should have a good enough campaign to cover the cost of the game ($60 usd).

i don't care for corridor style shooters (enemies only appear after a certain trigger has been activated)

good graphics doesn't mean its a great game. 5/10
