Crimson Gem Saga for PSP Reviews by Gamers

I love RPG's and I was excited to get this game and try it out. After Initially starting up and getting through all the long intro movie garbage was ok, but after being defeated a couple times and having to go thru all of that again, I was aggravated. It's my fault I should have looked for a Save option, but no autosave??? really??? And even after saving it, it got a little aggravating having to save after every skirmish to avoid all the not quite animation at the begining. Mainly I hated the story line, some kid thinks he's a loser and constantly puts himself down, he goes to join some militia and on his first day everyone gets killed but him. Lame story and definitely not engaging. My biggest complaint is all the frozen dialog, no animation just cardboard cutouts of various characters and long dilluted conversations.And half the time there is no voiceover for the dialog and the other half there is, makes no sense.
After playing this game several days in a row, I downloaded the Lunar Star Silver Harmony demo and whadda you know? Auto save and real animation, not just animation but nicely detailed anime. Yeah the mission on the demo is weird, but still a thousand times better than this game.
If you really want to play this game, rent don't buy.

starts off kinda slow but you get stuck in it. good rpg only problem is that the difficulty tends to ramp up really fast. a lot of grinding
