Perfect

Condemned: Criminal Origins is extraordinary

Condemned: Criminal Origins is the perfect example of amazing. It has all of the qualities of a great, mature action adventure game. First of all the graphics are phenomenal, they're dark, gloomy, gritty, and realistic. Sound quality is also well-done with creaking floorboards, bones cracking, and pipes dinging as you clobber the likes of bums, hobos, and junkies. The story is truly immersive, it leads you into a deep mystery that you'll have to find out about for yourself. Being an FBI agent means that you can use forensic tools to hunt down serial killers and solve puzzles. The fun factor really ramps up when you whip out a lead pipe and beat your opponents to a pulp. Don't think that it's that easy though, you'll have to regulate between attack and defense, just flailing your weapon around wont work. Make sure that you are prepared to be scared, because this game will keep you on edge the whole way through. The sounds and insane things that occur around you will make your hairs stand on end. Believe me, in this game the dark isn't your friend. This game is strictly for a mature audience so keep the younger kids away. There is an extreme amount of violence, sadistic situations, and some inappropriate language. For the older gamers this is a first-person experience of a lifetime, so if you like even one of the qualities this game has to offer, you'll love and be surprised by it. You need a HDTV and a decent surround sound system to get the full experience though. So pick it up. I loved it and rate it as one of my personal favorites, and I'm sure you will too.

Very Good

One of the best launch titles for 360

This game was one of the few games on launch day to show off the graphical capibilitys of the 360. Your name is Ethan Thomas, a detective on the prowl for a serial killer called "The Match Maker." You start out in a old building, investigating the crime scene
when everyything goes wrong. The serial killer is in the building and he killed your backup and now has your gun. While most people would jump out the window, run away and cry, Ethan grabs whatever he can use as a weapon. Such as a plank of wood, pipe, axe, arm of plastic, and sometimes if you get lucky, a gun. The graphics are gritty and dark. But you can still see the details. The engine is good, everything that isnt nailed down can be kicked or moved. This game will scare you in the first 15 min. The only reason this didntget a higher score is because its repedative and a little short. But still check it out!
