Weak

Poor attempt to imitate God of War!

Conan is sad to say the least. A cheap, bad imitation of God of War and no way near as smooth in its game play. I played it for 15-20 minutes, turned it off, and stuck it back in the return envelope. Big disappointment!

This game was boring, short (beat it in just over 6 hours), and full of glitches. You will be subjected to a whole lot of "lather, rinse, repeat" while playing this game. Nothing new or original here. Go rent God of War 2. I think GOW2 actually looks better than Conan and GOW2 was a PS2 game! Lame.....this game blowz. Do not buy it. Rent it if you're bored. Peace!

There’s not much that’s better than average with this game. The overall storyline is interesting, the graphics are sub-par for a Playstation 3 system, the sound is adequate, and the gameplay ranges from “pretty fun” to “downright annoying.” An average gamer will be able to complete the game in about 12 hours. An above average player or advanced gamer can probably finish in about seven hours.

Being a fan of the Cimmerian barbarian, I had high hopes for this game. I could tell, however, from the absurdly long load time at the beginning of the game that THQ was relying more on the name recognition of the character than in creating an efficient and well thought out game. As previously mentioned, the graphics would have looked pretty decent for a PS2 game, but if I had paid $60 for a new copy on the PS3, I’d have been a little upset. The in-game graphics were decent, but the cut scene animation was pretty pathetic.
