One step closer to a traditional rts for a console

The game controls are more streamlined to the xbox 360 controller than any CnC title, to date. This game deviates from the traditional CnC game play in that resource gathering is just like CnC Generals and the play is also very similar. Red Alert 3 differs from Kane's wrath in that it is more offensively oriented. Every Unit has a unique ability that is easily activated, which provides interesting and unique game play. The A.I. seems to be a lot more difficult than in CnC Tiberium Wars and Kane's Wrath. So far I haven't played a skirmish against an A.I. that didn't rush me. The campaign is fun, but it seems shorter than Tiberium Wars. The Acting is the best to date in the CnC series. The game as a whole is a hilarious experience poking fun at both sides(Well 3 really, Russia, Allies, and Rising sun) and not meant to be taken seriously. Really, though, who can take a Japanese school girl made Commando seriously, anyway? Well... maybe you can when she destroys half your buildings and army. All in all it is definitely worth a try and quite possibly, if you like it well enough, a buy.
