Nothing "Magical" about this game.

Mario and his friends are back in another installment - wait this is Cocoto Kart Racer, not Mario Kart Wii.
But there are far too many similarities between the two - powerups, booster pads and lap counter.
But Mario Kart Wii has 32 courses; this has only 15, five of which I can't unlock because I have trouble winning the first ten races on Normal setting.
That's right - even if you win the first two cups on Easy setting it won't unlock the last five tracks.
What makes it hard to win on Normal? First, the AI is far too good at handling hairpin turns. No matter which kart or player I pick, the computer blows past me in those turns.
Second, my kart choice is limited. If I wanted to win the race I'd have to pick the kart with the best handling to take on the many, many tight corners, twists and turns.
Third, some of the booster pads are badly placed. When I hit those pads, I fly right off the track. It go so bad I avoided them.
Fourth, the tracks are hardly original. They take the first five tracks and add a few more features and make five more tracks.
This is better than Cocoto's Magic Circus, but not by much.
I say you skip this game and save up for Mario Kart Wii. It's far better than this.
