I really enjoyed this game, it reminded me of Doom 3. So i found it fun. Some other review posters say that the designs are messed up and some levels are like mazes? well, honestly they arent that bad, theres only 1 level where i was like what the freak is going on and i was lost for a bit. I think you'll have to be able to "get" sarcastic humor to enjoy this game. This was the 1st FPS I've played for PS3 and i thought the graphics were GREAT, i liked the game play how you can control different people. whole game was good except maybe the ending. kinda weird dunno what happened but, ok. You'll see what I'm saying after you beat it :)

You people are too critical. The story and the graphics and everything were fine. The day that you make a game and it's better than Jericho, is the day that you can talk smack about Jericho. I will admit it's not the best game I've ever played, but there wasn't anything wrong with it. I didn't have any problem out of the ordinary and the characters were awesome. I thought the idea was great. The enemies were original and so was everything else about it. It was easy to control and I was never once confused. I like a game that has a solid story and I didn't mind that it had 'cut scenes'. They were bearable. If you want to play a mindless shooter, go buy Halo 3 for the failure of a video game console (360).

a whole lot of confusion. FPSs are my favorite genre so I have logged tons of hours on them, but there was a whole new learning curve to this game. Being able to switch characters was nice but knowing which was the best character to use in the right situation (and remembering who has what weapons/powers) was a chore. Overall I think that sentiment is the best way to describe this game, for every positive there seems to be a negative.

- The graphics look really nice, but most of the levels are dark/hazy so it makes you wonder whether they are really as nice as they seem.

- The game does give you hints about which character to use in what situation but most of the time the audio refers to a character's first name and the character selection controls use the last name. Also occasionally even though you have the hint trying to figure out exactly what to do or how to do it isn't easy.

- There are no long drawn out cut scenes with lots of exposition, but occasionally during the middle of the game you lose control of the characters and it switches to cinematic mode where you get lots of exposition (fortunately it does seem you can skip it).

- There are button mashing sequences (a negative IMHO), but at least when you get it wrong the game restarts immediately at the beginning of the sequence instead of having to replay whatever came before.

etc etc etc...

The game also has the tendency to be very repetitive. You walk a little, get stormed by a bunch of the enemy, kill them off, walk a little more same thing. Sometimes it's seems there are points in the game where the enemy will respawn until you reach a trigger point, other times it seems there is just a finite number that you have to kill off. Unfortunately I never discovered the trick of knowing which is which. Finally, the language/color commentary from the characters also gets real old fast.

If you like FPSs give it a try you may like it. I don't recommend it for those new to the genre.
