A very average game that should have been a very good game. It gets to be more frustrating than fun due to the dumb AI of your teammates, it is very linear and the Quick Time Events that feel out of place. It isn't all bad, it's just that the bad outweighs the good. Such wasted potential.

While visually not-so-great with some choppy effects and some monsters that look like previous monsters, only now they’re a new color; this game is still worth checking out.

The squad dynamics were excellent, and though difficult to use in combat, they added a new dimension to game play that was quite enjoyable. Then, each characters special abilities proved to be fun to use and downright charming once mastered. The high point for me was the story. I love Clive Barkers writings, and his voice came through in this game.

Yes, the ending is terribly disappointing. The graphics are sub-par. It seems like many corners were cut and the game was released early and on a low budget. But still, the story is fun, and the squad dynamics are fun and original, being the saving grace for this game. I would recommend trying it out and experiencing this aspect of the game.
