I read all of the reviews, knew this was (at least the first game, there are two on the disc) a port from a 360 game. After just playing Arkham Asylum, I realize I may've had my hopes up too high, but this game really, really sucked. It sucked so bad I sent it back the same day I got it. It's not that there was anything "wrong" with the graphics or the gameplay (if you're prepared for a retro title, it can actually be nostalgic), it's the glitches. Right at the beginning of the game, after you climb down the ladder through the latch your buddy opens for you, it begins to creep in. Hmmm. 'These graphics are from 5 years ago' I thought as the dread set in. I dropped out of the ventilation shaft on to boxes at the top of a room. A worker was fiddling with the door. I jumped down and killed him and he glitched head first into the closed door, his body half in and half out of the room. I started the level over thinking it was just a one-off and this time when I killed the guy, he DISAPPEARED IN TO THIN AIR. Normally I wouldn't care, but he had to die laying on his back to reveal the stupid key card to open the door and proceed with the game. So I started over again, and this time, he gave up the card. I ended up in a dark tunnel using night vision to avoid/subdue guards. Trying everything, I just couldn't get past that part. Not intuitive is one thing, but glitchy McGlitcherson on top of last gen graphics and clunky game play? PASS. Send God of War already.
