Graphics: Good, especially the lighting. Smooth character motions that nearly match Kingdoms of Amalur's smoothness, but not quite.
Gameplay: Standard combo fighting system similar to the latest Devil May Cry.
Plotline/character development: Note, I've never played the previous games, so I have no nostalgia for previous titles. The monsters were definitely interesting, but the character and story could use some work. I never felt compelled to care about the main character since he seemed like a cardboard cutout. As such, I lost interest and stopped playing.
Not a bad game. The story was ok and the game play was ok. Neither was hugely impressive. The combat system is very close to God of War. The DLC was very short and did not seem to me to be worth the cost.
