Bond. James Bond. Like no other Bond before him. For the first time in the series' history, James Bond (Daniel Craig) takes on the world not in the Cold War, but as it is now - post 9/11. The adventure takes the dashing hero all around the world, including the Bahamas, Venice, and the Czech Republic. The movie opens with Bond chasing a guerilla bomb-maker through the streets of Madagascar - and the chase is entirely on foot. Later, the international loan shark Le Chiffre (Mads Mikkelson) squares off with Bond in Montenegro in a poker game with stakes as high as they can possibly go, as assassination attempts, poisoning, and other dramatic events throughout the game keep the adrenaline pumping. Vesper Lynd (Eva Green) takes on the mantle as the latest Bond girl.
