Captain America: Super Soldier for Wii Reviews by Gamers

The best way to describe this game is a stripped down version of Batman Arkham Asylum on the wii.
The combat consists of mashing the b-button to punch with an occasional counter. It feels very satisfying do rake up 20 hit combos and take out a room of bad guys without a scratch.
Cap's Shield is essentially a bat-a-rang which can attack enemies and destroy crates from afar.
The Location is evan a big mansion you traverse to find Hydra Thugs like Barron von Struker and Madam Hydra who will taunt you and chastise their minions throughout the entire game via intercom.
That i'm afrade is where the similarities end. instead of an open world to explore metroid-style like in Arkham Asylum the levels are linear with little exploration beyond turning left at a corner to find a collectable before going right to the next area.
The graphics are not great but don't look bad. Everyone has giant hands and broad shoulders like in a cartoon. The animation can look stupid at times when allied characters are running like idiots alongside you.
There are a lot of collectables and i beat the game at around 70% completion evan though i looked my hardest for every last one (Some are well hidden)
There are challenges you can play mid game but they are either way too easy or way too hard.
A minor level up system is in place but i managed to max out my character before the last level so replayability is little. unless you want to unlock concept art.
Overall this game is a great Batman Clone stripped down of a lot of things that made that game great (Exploration and upgrading gadgets) and than put on the wii.
If all you have is a wii that you should rent this game if only to get a small taste of what makes Arkham Asylum so great

For Nintendo to be the top video game system, the graphics really do suck. The graphics are no where close to those of the PS3 and XBox 360.

I had played this game and have to say this is my favorite super hero game. I like the way there is a cross between super hero game and war game. The graphics on this game are beautiful done with you being able to see the expressions of each character and when explosions happen you they look like movie explosions. The controls are easy to use jump with the a button, attack with b button and move with the nunchuk contoller. The levels are easy to navigate and not to hard so as you want to give up. I would highly recommend this game to captain america fans or fans just looking for a fun action game.

ok so i rented this game cause i thought it would be fun
but when i got it i was like WHAT! sorry captain america fans but this isnt the best game i know im a BIG fan of captain america but this game isnt that fun so if you want you can rent it, but just saying not the best

my son plays this game almost every day and it looks fun. but it's only 1 player so my other son can't play very much.so on a scal of 1-10 i'd say 8 and a half.
but other than that it's a pretty good game.

I love having to play this game all day long. It is very actionful!

Who and what are the people that gave this game a 10 and 9 ratings??? I'm guessing Marvel fanboys, little children or perhaps the creators of the game and family members. I have to give this game a deserving 1 just to make up for the undeserving 10. In all honesty I would give the game maybe a 3 or 4.

(:The graphics in this game were great, wicked combos, simple levels, the game great. Why I give this game a ten u ask well its squirmed itself right into my top ten favorite games. I would get this game more than once :)
