Nice, but some franchises are a little overdone...

First off, this game was excellent in terms of emulation. It was done perfectly to the original cabinet versions of all the games. The collection offers mostly action titles, from Side Scrolling SON-SON to Capcoms "Contra" equivalent, "MERCS" and then there's the titles everyone not living under a rock knows about: "Street Fighter 2" and "Final Fight." All the games offer high score modes and every game with an original 2-player option still has all the game modes, a quality that lacks in a few other emulated games for PS2.
The only downside to the game is that it offers 3 Street Fighter 2 titles, 3 Ghouls and Ghost Titles and 3 1942 titles. Some of these could've been left out for some of the other Capcom greats like Captain Commando or King of Dragons. The other thing is there were already emulated versions of most of these games for GBA which I already own. However, this writer's opinion may change after what is seen when the second volume comes out.
All in all, a great experience if you really miss these games that much. I admit I did miss the cries of pain when you defeat an opponent in the original SF 2. It's also a cheaper title. If you're really into the shooting and violent action side of Capcom and have no existing copies of these older games, pick it up. If you've been down that road, you can steer clear until volume 2 is released.
