Call of Juarez for Xbox 360 Reviews by Gamers

The old west has always appealed to me as a great idea for videogames. First there was gun which was also a good game and now theres Call of Juarez. In Call of Juarez you play as the hunter preacher and the hunted Billy Candle.The graphics if you ask me are better than the critically acclaimed Gears of War. My only complaint for the whole game is the whip mechanic. Whoever thought of this should have been kicked off of the development crew, but other than that this game is Gold...and to the guy who said this game is hard just because you cant play fps' dont tell people not to rent an incredible game

I dont see how someone can give this game a 5 or even a 3! Just because you suck at FPS doesnt mean you have to give it a low score. The controls to me are just fine, if you play alot of FPS you wont have any trouble. Oh and to the guy who said its hard to know where your standing...then look down at your feet! anyways...

First off this game is alot of fun. From blasting bad guys and watching there bodies fall limp to the ground never gets old. Graphics are top notch! Gorgeous landscapes and very detailed characters! Far from last gen....The story...well its not bad. Like it was said in another review it wont win any awards but it does do a good job of keeping the momentum going. At first I didnt like playing 2 different characters but after a while its not so bad, changes the pace of the game so you dont get bored. The duels are fun, time slows down and you see your shots hit the enemy as they fall to the ground....great! The slow motion feature that they use for the reverend is fun but you wont find yourself using it too often....and oh to the guy who said "you have to wait for it to re-load to use it again" you poor thing is 30 seconds too long? I just cant stand when people shoot down a game because they like to concentrate on the negatives or try a game out of there norm and because they suck at it they hurt its score. The weapons are detailed and feel great, shooting enemies with your dualies is always fun and the rifle is great at long range kills. The bow is good for silent kills and the TNT.....well you know. Oh and if you read the review where the guy said you cant shoot dead bodies or the game ends? I dont know what game he played but it doesnt end, the character says "why...hes dead?" or "for what?" in other words dont waste your ammo, you will need it. All in all this game is alot of fun and any FPS fan will enjoy the game play! Dont listen to the others and rent this game!!
