Good But Not A Classic!

Red Dead Redemption set the bar for all Western genre games, whether it be past, present or future. Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood sets brothers Ray and Thomas McCall on a quest of destruction and murder for the gold of Juarez while being hunted down by a vengeful ex-Confederate Colonel, all while being torn apart by a Mexican harlot while the youngest brother Father William trying to keep the peace. The story is pretty good with the back drop of the Civil War being used, only problem is Ubisoft seems to have picked the politically correct stance when showing Sherman's March to the Sea by showing no murder or rapping of women, only burning down one house and freeing no slaves, shame. Other than that the story is well paced and has great voice actors other than the Natives in the game, who one has the same voice as Zuko from Avatar the Last Airbender. Then there is the multiplayer.. That is if you're lucky enough to a connection to play multiplayer, it seems rushed and thrown together and you can rarely find someone to actually play with you. All in all, this is a very good game but not great! I would still recommend Red Dead Redemption any day over this but if you are a hardcore Western fan who has already beaten the Red Dead story, rent this game! I give it a 7/10.
