One of the best-selling game series, Call of Duty, returns with its 5th game, Call of Duty: World at War. After winning several awards, including game of the year, Call of Duty 4 became one of the best-selling games on the market.
Several people have been long-waiting the next part of the series. But when finding out that it was going to be based on WWII AGAIN, several people lost interest and stayed on Call of Duty 4.
I personally reserved Call of Duty: World at War, and was able to participate in the Beta. I have enjoyed most of the gameplay, the storyline, and the multiplayer.
Many people need to atleast rent CoD: Word at War before they can say they will never move on from CoD4, or give up in the series as a whole. There are several great features in this new addition to the series, including Co-Op and Nzi Zombies.
The storyline in solo/co-op was definitely fun to play, but I would hate to play it more than twice. Multiplayer is fun, including the addition of war and capture the flag, plus extra hardcore settings, but it can get boring after a while. Especially since team-tactical is no longer available nor Old-School mode in Private Matches. By far, Nzi Zombies (Which is unlocked after completing solo mode) is one of the best additions to the new game. It gets repetitive, but is definitely a fun game to relax with friends and get headshots on zombie's when you need a break from the rest of the game.
I would highly recommend this game to other gamyfly users and my friends. Don't be stubborn! Try the game before saying you don't like it. I guarantee there is some parts to the game you will enjoy if you like FPS games.
Overall I give this game an 8.5/10.
