Activision was to afraid to do anything different with their tried and true franchise. This game does nothing new with the game play and the graphics are low quality when compared to other shooters on the market currently. The multiplayer is one dimensional, all it is Death match with different skins applied to it, Survival was fun though. The only standout thing about this game was the single player, it was genuinely fun to play through once with a lot of water cooler moments in it. overall this game was mediocre at best and not worth buying and almost not worth renting. Battlefield is the overall better game, but before you rent it know that you have to buy a online pass for it, while this one is free.
Although this game is good, its not better than Uncharted 3 or Batman Arkham City, if you like Call of Duty games you'll like this game. It has a good campaign and online, its just it didnt live up to the hype for me.
Well, after renting this, I have to say it's a clone with a few, forgettable added features. The so called progression system is weapon leveling disguised as accomplishments. Its been out two days and people have glitched it up already. And just like mw2, there is a flood of cookie cutter players tearing up the battlefield. Same loadout and all.
There isn't any creative thinking to this gameplay. Everyone is using the most broken loadout.
And getting shot is virtually impossible to escape from and recover because everyone has the less kick and extra bullet damage loadout.
If you like simple arcade games. it's a must buy.
If you like ANYTHING better, you know where to look.
