Let me just start by saying that the lowest rating for this game is a seven.... thats just how good it is!!!!
Amazing graphics, sound, and controls.
The singleplayer is constantly leaving your mouth open in awe, and the multiplayer (with custom kill streaks new perks, more weapons and new customization options) is just epic. I bought this game second day it came out and my only complaint now is that I didn't buy it on the first day it came out!
man o man this game is awesome. from watching the trailers i thought man this game was gonna be insane. played career...still progressing through...played multilayer...havin lots of fun. over all when you progress through the career, your not gonna wanna play any other game, thats how awesome this game is. infinity ward went in with this game, it is better then i expected. modern warfare 2 makes modern warfare 1 look like a joke. this sequel has a realism fell to it unlike cod4 were it was all arcade, this game is balls out sick and insane.

"Jaw-dropping" and "Incredible" do not even begin to describe this game. Absolutely this is the most complete action gaming experience I have ever had. Now usually I am a very critical of games, and Modern Warfare 2 is no exception. However, other than some minor realism issues the only complaint I would have is that this game is just a tad too short. A few more missions in either the Middle East or D.C. theaters would be nice but once the campaign is over you can keep yourself occupied with online play or the spec ops missions.
For anyone who said the last game's scope was too small than they will be pleasantly surprised with the sequel. This time around the story encompasses a much larger game world that has you fighting with the Rainbow Six on steroids type Task Force 141 or the Army Rangers in action packed missions that can only be described as movie like action sequences unfold in first person. And if you think you know what I'm talking about because you've played the first game, trust me when I say you have no idea how much the level of control, length, and variety these playable cutscenes have been improved.
Overall, there's no reason to write anymore about this game because you need to experience it for yourself. And yes, I do mean need to experience this game. This is one that will go down as possibly genre defining or a game that you measure this generation of games with. All there is to say is that the bar has been set again by the Activision crew and I don't see anyone but them raising it any higher anytime soon. And absolute must have. Like I said, as close to perfect as I've ever seen.
