yah this review is really late, but i think this helps to understand it. This is the 4th CoD game and it has REALLY improved since CoD 3 (or World at War for me)
Pros: The single player is top notch with a great amount of intense moments in the Cold War and memorable characters such as Frank Woods and some returning favorites from World at War.
The controls are once again, perfect with customizable options. It is also supported by the Wii zapper and classic controller pro. supports the new HeadBanger headset.
The multiplayer is crazy and intense despite still having 5v5 matches. The community is growing and strong. The new Allies system is a must use for online.
Some improvement on explosion effects and framerate and NO LAG SHOOTING (MWR veterans can relate to this) and the addition of Zombies which is VERY addicting. however....
Cons: Difficulty is the same as World at War. Insane and unfair at times. ESPECIALLY in the S.O.G level. The graphics are lacking if u compare them to Conduit 2 or Modern Warfare Reflex, though its for the framerate.
the lighting is bad that sometimes cause you to turn up the brightness There are overpowered or overused weapons in the multiplayer.
There is no host migration so there are some disconnections. The lack of DLC or map packs is a HUGE disappointment.
lack of some content such as the chopper gunner, gunship, and valkyrie rockets kill streaks, the camera spike equipment, Dead Ops Arcade and the zombie map FIVE. So Zombies is addicting, but can it last with only one map?
Its a call of duty game so chances are it will drive you crazy and very mad at some matches.
lastly, possibility of breaking your wii. There have been reports of broken wiis due to this game however I haven't came across from it, but still it is risky. this is a shame since despite all that, it is still a fun game. The reports are that the wii console couldn't handle the game's intensity. So if u still want to try it, renting is the most logical solution.
