call of duty black ops rocks it is worth it the multiplayer online rocks its better than black ops2 multiplayer. heres tip for the new players keep a hold on your scorestreaks intil the next round caus if you earned 4 rc ds an 2 chopper guners an3 sr71 on the1 round then you can use them all and dominate the outher team. an as goes for zombies its a tie with bo2 zombies its worth every dime an penny on all of the dlc map packs.
Having come back to gaming after 5 or so years (PS2 Broke) I find myself returning to old favorites. COD Black Ops is not as good as previous episodes, the 'story' is convoluted to say the least and the Voice Overs (Narration) is really over the top.
It's still great fun to go through a COD but the story set back in JFK's time and about Russians is a bit much as finding and killing these 'players' never seems all that real. I don't mind a Fiction, mind you and it's great fun to re-animate these times, but in this one the story felt a bit too strained.
I'm not interested in Maps or Multiplayer like many of COD fans, I'm not Tony Hawk here... so I'm not here to test my Video Game attributes
I like playing Solo because that's all there is in my opinion...
I still like this series and am looking forward to taking on COD Black Ops 2.
p.s. The Zombie thing didn't interest me in the least... I shot some but it is rather dated actually!
Not a bad game for someone like me, who likes to play on casual mode and just shoot things up.
I have enjoyed all the COD games, but this one maybe a little less. The story seemed to be a little disjointed in places and at times there was more cut scene than game.
other than that, it contained just the right mix of challenge an frustration. The weapons were good with a good drop rate.
I kind of slammed into the ending thinking that there would be much more game to play. It's not a long one.
