I always loved the COD franchise but this one left me wondering where the rest of the game was. Well, it was taken up with a huge amount of "movie" story line that wasn't interesting and you can't skip most of the time. I did appreciate the language filter, but there was SO much of it that half the conversations were deleted. C'mon! Really? The game wasn't very cohesive and you really didn't care about the story with the exception of killing the head bad guy so the thing would end.
Great shooter game. What I like is it's the only game I know of that lets me chose to blank out the foul language. When I play a game on the PS3 and my wife is on the computer in the same room she doesn't have to listen to the very limited vocabulary that most of the shooter games have. THANK YOU Activision for this option.
I rated this as a 1 because I could not finish the game. Every time I got to the end of the Noriega mission, the game would lock, freeze, stop, etc. I looked up solutions on the web and went through just about every step except reformatting my drive. All my other games continue to work without issue. And I was able to replay BO2 several times until I reached the exact same point in the game. Once I got to that point, it would freeze. I tried several times to get it going again but I just couldn't get it to do it. And I even erased several saved games (from other games) and game data for games that I no longer had nor would play again. Must have deleted 20gb of data (thinking I was hitting a bad spot on the drive). But nothing worked. The game would always die right around the same point every time I tried to replay it.
So, considering these issues, this is the WORST game I've ever played. I've had issues with games before but have always been able to work through them. But not this one. I tried for over two weeks but nothing worked. So while the game play itself was on par with other COD games, the fact that I couldn't finish just pi$$ed me off. Complete waste of time and money.
