Good

Takes away control

You'll spend a lot of time watching amazing set pieces and not playing them. The fun is interrupted too often by explosions where control is taken away and you have to do these annoying interactive cutscenes . The omg moments are not impressive because they happen often.

Multiplayer is fun but having played every Call of duty since Cod 4, I got bored after playing a couple games. Feels old and new weapons and titles are not going to do it for me.

yea its better than last years game but thats not saying much. the lag in this game is terrible. how the heck can you headshot someone point blank range with an 870 in the head and it doesn't count now that is just god awful. they need to take some of that money they made in 24 hours and make dedicated servers on console. on the bright side of things the single player is good at least treyarch is actually doing some work on this game instead
of repackedging the previous title and calling it a new one.
they still need a new engine though it's starting to get a little long in the tooth.

Black Ops(the original) got it right. I finally thought Treyarch had reached the same status as the the original Infinity Ward(West and Zampella) as far as 1st person war shooters. Black Ops II takes a major step backwards. I felt like I was playing World at War, which was awful, in the future. What happened to the team that made the last game? It can't be the same people that made this game. There is too much wrong with this game for me to even go into it. I would suggest that you rent it and see for yourself. I am glad I didn't buy it though. It may be time to say goodbye to all Activision Call of Duty games. Respawn Studios and EA, here I come.
