I don't have much to say that is positive about this game. I wish that I played the console version of this game because it received rave reviews. Hearing about these, I thought I should check this game out and was disappointed. The graphics are fine, not good but fine. I just didn't like playing the game. The major flaw was the control scheme. It hurt my hands to hold the ds in the way it was required to play the game. while the console game may be great this port to the ds is not.

As you've probably already guessed, CoD4: Modern Warfare for the Nintendo DS is what I like to call, "Graphically Challenged." But hey.. what can you expect from a DS? While this tiny FPS isn't ANYWHERE close to the caliber of it's Console Versions, it still delivers that vital element all games require. FUN.
With over-the-top sound, and a great variety of weapons to clobber the onslaught of bad guys, CoD4 offers portable carnage, very quickly, with easy to learn controls, and exciting missions right from the start to get you in the middle of the scourge.
Again, while not as smooth in gameplay, or in graphics as it's console versions, who can deny the fun of tossing a grenade into an enemy hideout, or mowing down a wave of bad guys with a trusty assault rifle. No matter how you play it, CoD4 offers constant action.
Call of Duty fans will want to add this one to their collections, and first-timers will enjoy the ease at which they can get their hands dirty playing one of the most popular titles in the gaming industry!
