Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare for PlayStation 3 Reviews by Gamers

I can only hope that more companies put out titles like COD4, and spend as much time, effort, and money on their games as Activision has. The single player mode is by far the most captivating, and exciting game I have ever played. Brilliant graphics that, really for the first time, drew me into the game like a movie and had me ducking and swerving in front of my big screen. Even my girlfriend who hates first person shooters was greatly impressed. If you want to feel like you are in the middle of modern combat, or if you love movies like "Black Hawk Down" and "Platoon" then you have to give this a try, at least once.... And as far as online goes, this is the first title that I have yet to experience any typical online "hangups" with. This is due in part to limiting the number of players to a max of 12, but trust me it really brings the quality of gaming back into the picture. Very exciting split screen action is possible as well with up to 4 players at home with you. Watch your back though, because Ill be out there looking for you....

The graphics on this game is top-notch. I've already clocked in 20hrs of online play. If you have to go to work tomorrow my suggestion is to stay away from online portion. It is so addictive unlike Halo 3 you get awarded new perks for your rank upgrades. Plus, it doesnt take 150 shots to kill somebody in this game either. I'm not going to ruin it for anybody but the end is the best of any modern day shooter.
