The game play is rewarding, although it is tedious after weeks of the same old. However, online play, lacking compared to halo 2, is decent enough to warrent buying the game. BUT a BIG problem with connection issues. Your gameplay will drop mid play, or your screen will vibrate and make you sea sick. Freezes after prolonged playing.
If you are looking to impress your friends with your new 360, Call Of Duty 2 is your best bet. One of the few games that truly shows what the 360 is capable of producing graphically. It truly is an incredible game. The storyline is to be desired. But the single player game is a blast to play. There are 4 difficulty levels to cater to anyone wheather you consider yourself an avid gamer or a newcomer. The veteran mode (hardest mode) is much like Halo's veteran mode. 2 shots and you're dead. The single player is also quite long so it should keep you busy for a good amount of time. Now with the patch, online is also a blast. Anyone who says the online is bad has not played since the patch has been released. I recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of first person shooters.
