Cabela's Legendary Adventures does a very good job of giving a real look at hunting prey. You wander about the areas following the tracks until you find the prey.
At least that's what supposed to happen. But getting to spot the tracks is very sluggish and clunky. To make matters worse, these tracks are old and lead me round in circles; one set of tracks leads to another and another with no sight of the target animal.
So, I spend a lot of time wandering about the woods finding nothing more than a few squirrels and a pair of does to shoot at. Not very intense.
It's too bad the game lacks excitement; Legendary Adventures looks great. The reflection of the water is perfectly done.
Maybe there's some secret to using the tracks to find the target animals. Maybe there's some tactic I'm supposed to use, like wait at a spot for a certain period of time. But if that's the case, the game has to give me hints as to these tactics - because I'm not going to find out for myself.
Unless you know a few things about hunting, I suggest you skip Cabala's Legendary Adventures.
