Not every show/movie makes a good game.

This is a great example of one that doesn't. The concept is interesting, and from what I understand there is other forensic training software out there that runs similar to this, but in this case the execution is really poor. I think the main problem stems from the fact everything is too scripted. I understand this is about the only way you could run this sort of program but it seems to also get in the way sometimes and therein lies the fundamental problem of the game. For example, there were some times when I knew what evidence I needed or where I needed to go next, but because I didn't find the specific screen or the specific action I needed to take to unlock that, I was stuck. Then you end up having to go back through everything again looking for the unlock point you missed before.
The graphics were minimal, but not necessarily needed for this type of game so that was no big deal. As someone else mentioned though you would think they would have done a better job of making sure when a DNA/fingerprint/similar sample on the screen looks like it matches that it actually is the match you're looking for. Nothing is more frustrating than visually finding the match but when doing the compare to get approval from the game it says it's not a match. I didn't finish it but I also suspect the replayability of the game is going to be really low.
Overall I recommend sticking to watching the shows and skip the game.
