True Fans Stay away

As of this writing I will admit that I have not tried it on line, this was my first impression from playing the single campaign.
Completely disappointing is the only thing I can say. True they made it different, being opened ended but that’s not what burnout was all about. It was a mindless violent racing platform that let you rip your car apart for fun, there was no thinking involved. That’s the way I like to play burnout, without thinking. I don’t want to have to view maps and strategize routes. All that is needed was the mindless fun that the previous platform versions brought to the table. In this game you have to keep an eye on the map, careful the route you take. Horrific! They took a fun game and tried to intellectualize it and guess what? It Does Not Work. Do not try and sophisticate an all out driving brawl! Bring back the insane racing Plat former I Love….Please!

Graphics are great, I will give it that, smooth and fluid
Sound is as good as the previous versions.
Game…overall………….not good.

The prequel burnout games were excellent. I was highly anticipating this release but was disappointed with the new interface and style of the game. The main menu of selecting which event you want to do is gone. Now you have to drive around a city to find events. This is very similar to GTA-style games except you can't exit the car. The graphics are awesome yet I miss the older, more straight forward versions.

Better than all others combined!

This is the best burnout game ever!

Here's why:

1. Car classes

2. More and better challenges

3. Way more realistic

4. Breathtaking graphics

5. Awesome stunt challenges

These are just a few of the great things in Paradise.

Here are the bad things:

1. Can't traffic check cars while going 100 mph.

2. Trying to take down cars is a lot more tougher, but only when you start out.

Notice: Not a lot of bad things.

Burnout Paradise is a great racing game and also, if you like doing awesome stunts like me, you'd probably buy it. I'd call it the best racing game (for now).

Note: This review isn't that long, but pretty much summarizes the game.
