Not at all like first couple of games. I loved legends. This game SUCKS Everyone wants to be like GTA with free range. It only adds to the lack luster pop of the PS3 next gen BURNOUT game . two thumbs down.

There are two ways of thinking when it comes to Burnout: Paradise. One is thinking that evolution is the only reason to continue making the games. The other way of thinking is that "Why change it if it is not broken?"
Burnout is an evolution of the series. It now features an open game play that allows you to drive around until you find a mission and accept it. This feature is good for learning how the game works. It allows you to test drive the city and get a feel for controls, layout, shortcuts, and many other aspects of the game.
Positive Aspects ~There is an awesome soundtrack mixed with a "Helping" DJ. ~The Graphics are amazing. ~Large selection of hidden cars. ~Large drivable city to explore.
Negative Aspects ~Repetitive missions ~Small graphics make it hard to see details
Over all I believe this is a great step for the game. Easy to learn and smooth controls make this game a 9 out of 10.
