Very Good

Pretty addicting however...

I'm new to the series I admit, but why the heck is it so hard to read the map and race? The graphics are pretty sweet, the cars are fast, and the online play is kickass. Now if I could only figure out where to go during a race I'd rate this game a 9 most likely...that said, the online play is so fun, you don't even need to run a race to enjoy it...

Visuals were great I will give the game that much. Was not a big fan of the single player game, I gave up on doing the stunt runs, and stayed strictly witht he road rage, wanted man and race runs. I like the race games where you can actually upgrade your vehicles, sell them, buy them, etc., and this game just did not do it for me. I also did not like the fact that when you failed at a race you could not retry it, and then you were at least a five minute drive away from the start point and you had to remember which point it was. I also was not a big fan of the mini map and trying to figure out which way i was going at high speed, you had to take your eyes off the driving and usuall either took a wrong turn or hit a wall or another vehicle.

Excellent

One of the best Burnouts yet.

The open world concept is fantastic. At the start of the game your given full access to entire map and are award at least 10 new cars within the first hour. This allows anybody full freedom to have fun right from the get go. The story advances by unlocking new vehicles and races through upgrading your driving licence. Each new level has perticular requirements needed before advancing. Online play is nicely placed into the game by allowing you to jump right into an online race with the press of the D-pad while anywhere in the career map. Future racing games should take note of Burnouts lead. I like where Burnouts heading. A+ title
