This Game Is Great, But ....

This game is great, but the newer releases from this series are better.
I know I give Burnout: Dominator 7 out of 10, but I'd still pick this over Dominator. Why? Read on to find out ......
I'll write a review for both Dominator and this, and by the end you'll probably see why I pick this game over Dominator.
Burnout 2: Point of Impact is the first game I've played out of the Burnout series. It's very exciting, but not as wild and thrilling as games like Burnout Revenge. This game features my favorite of all Burnout modes; Crash Mode! In this mode, you go to places and damage as many cars as possible to earn points. That's a lot of fun. But you can still have a normal race, just watch out for the traffic! The graphics in this aren't very good, but that's really the only downside. I give this game 6 out of 10.
Burnout: Dominator is a step down on the series. It's probably the biggest disappointment of the series. It's major problem: NO CRASH MODE! Instead, there's Maniac Mode, where you have to drive dangerously to score points. This mode makes me realize how stupid the Burnout series is, and then I wonder why I like it so much. Anyway, this game is more destructive than Burnout 2, but without Crash Mode, it's like having a band without a drummer. This gets 7 out of 10, for it's good graphics.
So now you must realize that I like Burnout 2 better because it has Crash Mode, but don't get me wrong, both of these are worth rentals.
