I was looking forward to this game a lot since I'm a teacher and would like a game where I get to bully and beat up on students. It has potential, but it lost me after a while.
First of all, I thought it was going to be a sandbox game, but you have class bells calling you to get to class constantly! I wanted to just wander and do as I pleased, but that constant pressure to get to class in time for the sometimes fun class activities kept me from doing that. And time is moving way too fast in this game. Days go by in minutes of real time, so you also have to worry about night arriving and you have to get back to your dorm room by 2 a.m. or you will pass out. There is very little to do unless you activiate a mission with the Y button at a certain location. So free roaming is boring after about 10 minutes.
The game is completely centered around completing missions and getting to class for mini games. If you complete a mini game successfully, you get a bonus like new clothes or a better socializing talent. The mini games are hit or miss in the fun dept. but the missions are all pretty fun and challenging.
The graphics are lackluster at best. The Playstation roots are very much still showing, but the lighting improvements and upping the texture details has helped make the game look at least ok.
My last comment is my biggest complaint. This is what made me not want to continue to play after three days with this game: load times. The load times are long and frequent. A game has to be amazingly good to make it worth sitting through this kind of load time. Bullworth is a pretty good game, but not that good to me. That was what eventually killed it for me.
If this sounded interesting to you, I would certainly recommend renting Bully. But I couldn't recommend it as a buy for anyone because of the mediocre graphics, constant pressure of time limits, and horrible load times.
this game is alot of fun my girlfriend how hates when i turn on the 360 now cant wait till I get home and fire it up has things she like to do the school parts and helping the nerds and thing i like to to I would tell anyone with a lady thats its a must own keeps um off you back when you want to put in halo
