This is one great looking, smooth playing, fast-moving, top-notch shoot the snot out of everything game.
Great style points for inventive weaponry, hilarious off-color dialogue, and gorgeous visuals that sometimes reminded me of Bioshock, where the art direction was a labor of love.
The gameplay reminds me a lot of the old PC game Painkiller (awesome!), but Bulletstorm is a little more complex in terms of powering up your weapons and special attacks.
Earning points by making creative kills is a big part of this game, and the interface keeps you involved by helping out with those as you progress into higher levels and new weapons.
Worth every penny.
