Painfully Disappointing

I'm gonna sound like a crotchety old man, but why is it so hard to find a game where all ya do is shoot people & blow stuff up? Games used to be like that! No long back story, just, "Here's a gun, there's some bad guys, have fun!" Ah well, maybe I'll spring for an old school Sega Genesis & get me some Mutant League Football going.
