Close, but no stake.

Chaos Bleeds does a great job of bringing Buffy from the TV to the console, but it has a few flaws that keep it from being perfect.
First, the aesthetic flaw: voice acting. I understand that the actual actors from the show have other commitments and can't do the video game; the problem comes when the imitation voice actors are 95% close. So close you can almost believe it, but there's something just not quite right. Everything else aesthetic about the game (graphics, story, etc.) is dead on.
Second, the big problem: control. The game does not control as fluidly as it should. Too many times you get jumped by several vamps/demons/whatever and the game continues to do a combo on an already vanquished foe instead of turning to face the next one. A game where everything else is polished nicely just falls flat when the controls aren't as responsive as they should be.
In conclusion, if you're a fan of the show, you'll enjoy the game for being a good approximation of an episode. But if you're a gamer first, you may get frustrated.
