This is a fantastic game for the WWII fan. If you enjoyed watching HBO's Band of Brothers, then you'll love playing this. I recommend starting with the first two on the original Xbox, but this game does a good job recapping the past games' events.
The shooting system has never been up to par with Call of Duty games or even Medal of Honor, but the story, setting, and characters is what makes this game worth your time.

The story and game play is bar none.Where the real fun is is the MULTIPLAYER there are no respawns no upgrades and only one form of game CAPTURE THE FLAG,you have to work as a team to lower there flag and then put up yours.AWESOME 10 man teams 20 per game and each round last about 3 min. so if you do die you don't have to wait that long, and you must use your mic or you most likely will be kicked.I've been playing this game for two years on and off and i still LOVE IT.

this isnt really a reveiw but a tip to make the game a little less irritating. a lot of the guns are really not very good. it may take like half of the magazine of a BAR in a Germans head to finally kill them. so basicly what im saying is that the german's "health" we could say, is very high. so expect to use a lot of ammo. now to solve this problem what i did for every level is i picked up a K98k. it is one shot kill, and every other german has one so you rarely have to worry about ammo.
