Technically, yes, a puzzle game

Ugh.
I picked this up after playing Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney. I was in the mood for another game that would stretch the mind a bit. Unfortunately, Broken Sword doesn't stretch the mind so much as test one's patience. In the first two chapters, some puzzle solutions are so arbitrarily insane that you'll likely damage your DS trying to select the far more obvious tool for the job. (I'm thinking specifically of the cross door in the riverside gate room).
The story isn't engaging or original. A costumed murder is linked to a secret organization. Yawn. Dan Brown has been selling this nonsense for years--it isn't new.
The UI is functional, but not fun. The graphics are uninspiring, the soundtrack mundane.
To summarize: don't bother.
