Brain Age: Train your brain in minutes a day does exactly what it says. It trains you brain. And can you guess how long it takes? Correct, minutes... a day! The story behind this game is that neuroscientist(A person that works with the human brain) Dr. Ryuta Kawashima, has made a game about writing, reading and math. The excercises, such as solving simple math problems, reading aloud, and counting sylibles in a sentance are designed to help your brain get healty. Dr. Kawashima has discovered that your brain get old if not used, so you could be 35, and have a brain that is 67. Think of it as a gym for your brain. Does math and writing not intrerest you? try this game and i promise that you will want to learned what E=mc2 means. This is where Brain Age Shines. Just the plain glory of watching your friends get the problem 4X4 wrong is hilarios!! Included in that game are training excersises that help your brain age soar to the highest score, 20. Sudoku is also in cluded, and a multiplayer mode where you hook up with friends to see who can do 30 math problems the fastest. The only real problem is that once you find your brain age for the day and do all the training exercises, the game is practally over for the day. The only thing you could do that actually do that you did not do already is play the 120 suduko puzzles included with the game. My final verdict is that once you play brain age, you will want to keep it. Buy on gamefly, its like 17 dollars
it was really fun at first and I did get a better brain age but it got boring in about a week. i had to play the same games over and over again until it got boring, which was pretty fast. it is easy to cheat on most of the games like word memory and it is very tempting to cheat. word memory (you have to remember as many words out of 20) is the main reason i sent it back, there is no way to avoid it and i really suck at it! the mic doesn't catch the words correctly all the time, that can really tick me off. in the end i recommend renting it but not buying it.
