Fantastic, spot-on game play mechanics. Striking art style. Dark sense of humor. Well over 100 quests, some complex, some simple, but always fun. The story is thin ( no dialogue trees, & not much by way of dialogue in & of itself, but what there is keeps the game moving right along), but you'll be too busy to notice it too much. Compelling environments. The planet of Pandora is a thing of harsh, unforgiving beauty. The game is not easy, & there are no difficulty options. I died a lot at first, then I cruised for a few levels, & then it got very hard again. That's how the game progresses. If you like to play relaxing games, then this is definitely not for you. This game is far from relaxing -- it's intense & frantic. A few times when I was admiring the scenery I got blind-sided & killed with a quickness. Properly customizing your character's skill trees is essential to succeeding in this game, so luckily you can re-assign skill points during the game for a small fee. Every aspect of this game is dynamic, & you get pulled in effortlessly. I've only played a little multi-player so far, so I don't have much to say about that yet. This is one of a handful of games that are worth spending $60 on. It's just that good.
The first time I put this in I was amazed at the feel of COD & Fallout 3! Since I bought it 4 days ago, I haven't gotten much of anything done other than play it every chance I get. As well as kicking ideas around in my head about my character, weapons, and tactics. All of this while I'm working, laying in bed with my gf, playing with my kid, and walking my dog haha seriously this game is awesome and worth a 10! Just go buy it and try to get all the achievements! Hmm I wonder what's for dinner tonight canned Skag meat?¿? Lol
For starters, I would highly suggest that everyone play this game.
This game is just so crazy and awsome rolled into one package. Not to mention that some of levels are extremely TOUGH!! Boss battles are even worst the higher up you get.
Rent it, buy it, just play and you will see what I mean.
INFINITY A+ simply sick on all levels.
