I enjoyed the game, the first was way fun, but this time it just seemed too much of the same, still good mind you but didn't seem like any huge development in story or design ... still totally a must play.
The first 20 hours were pretty amazing, and I couldn't put down the controller.. The world looks new and fresh, and everything is pretty solid. The characters are hilarious once again.
Then hour 21 hits and you realize that's all this game has to offer... And one liners get pretty old. When the humor goes stale, and the side quests don't offer any fun or challenge, this game falls flat..
The great thing is, if you don't think too much about it, this is a great game... It does have an identity, and it knows what it does well. And what it does well is fun. It seems as though Gearbox really used fun gameplay as the mantra while developing it.
I loved the first Borderlands, so I knew what to expect here, I just can't help but feel as though this game is missing something to make it a little more interesting...
