Everything I expected, and then some...

I had been anticipating this game more than any other title since I had beaten the first one. I read all there was to read on it, replayed the first one several times, and watched all the leaked youtube footage, for a whole year before even playing it. With all that anticipation and expectation, you would think I could only be dissapointed once I actually played the game...you would be wrong.
In fact, this game even exceeded my expectations. Every aspect of the first one was re-evaluated, re-constructed, and presented and delivered better than in the first Borderlands, while still maintaining true to the feel, look, and addictive quality of it's predecessor.
Needless to say, I am drinking the gearbox "k00l-aid" without all the shame and regret of knowing that I am a tool and sellout.
