I should note I wasn't huge on the first one. Story is extremely important to me in a shooter and I wasn't a fan of how it was told. But, my friends told me I should try B2 because I'd like it more.
Honestly, It's just more of the same. The only different for me was the balance wasn't as good compared to the first one. It felt like playing solo wasn't given a fair advantage like playing full co-op. I understand that's the point, but if I want to play solo I should be given a shot.
I've always LOVED the cartoon-like graphics. I remember when the first game was being made how they were going to do normal graphics. To me, the game would of just been like any other game if that had happened.
Anyway, maybe it is an unfair rating since I'm a little biased. But not my thing. Glad to see so many people enjoy it though, 2K and Gearbox (brothers in arms) are 2 of my favorite Dev teams.
Turn it on and guess what i see? Annoying claptrap! Same cheap graphic with same repetition quests from the first game... and Guess what Your a vault hunter again!! sigh. No thought was put in the storyline, Maybe I'm getting tired of FPS or just excepted alot more!
This game was AWESOME! Not to mention the constant plug, if u find him, for a Borderlands fan that has past away. Great game, well put together, hours of fun. A+ Single player/Campaign. B- Multiplayer. Mostly because used only to rank up and only can play missions u played on the campaign. I wanted to kill some cats with these bad to the bone weapons I had acquired...o the best part the weapons.
