Borat is both a movie people love to love and love to hate. I love this movie mainly because i had seen Baron Cohen's show, the Ali G Show. What makes this show so hilarious is, what I like to call, the Jackass effect. The Jackass effect is a film or show directed in the unaware public, meaning, they do not know what is going on. So as Borat has his adventure in the U S and A, he is going around kissing people, mostly men, as well as sharing his own traditions with the American people.....That is what makes it so funny. This is not your everyday family fun movie as, whether or not it was supposed to be, it was directed toward teens and young adults. This raunchy film is an excellent picture of what MOST, not all, teens and young adults want to see in a movie...If you did enjoy this movie the first time you watched it, it is a movie you will keep remembering years from when you saw it... It's one of those movies that your sitting at the dinner table and someone says a line from the movie(not purposely)and you just start cracking up... Excellent film...Wish I could see more, but Sasha Baron Cohen "retired" both Borat and Ali G....Too bad. =(

BORAT is the best movie ever. The people who say that it is not funny have no sense of humor because everything in the movie is funny. theres not one part in the movie where somthing funny is not thrown in even in a serious situation (like stealing Pamela Anderson). Bottom line is, if you like comedy and laughing histerically for 84 minutes, then rent this movie. I would buy it but i cant find it anywhere so ill just rent it and watch it over and over and over!
OVERALL:10/10 Best movie ever, who cares what the other people say, its funny, trust me.
