Bomberman Generation for GameCube Reviews by Gamers

This game... ugh... is possibly on my top least favorite games EVER. But let me tell you why, not just me yelling at you.

StoryMode - 1 (Negatives aren't possible)

The game has some of the worst gameplay possible. You walk around a bomberman in a 3D enviroment and you begin slow, weak, and without power. You must collect items to raise your stats to help you defeat enimies.

But WAIT... this isn't turn-based! Why do we have to collect items to get stronger. Even WORSE!!!! You have to collect all the items and stats over again when you die(okay...) or complete a level!(WHAT!!!!!). Even with all the items the game is extremely hard and takes much of your time to complete a level.

The newest part of the game is the monster battles! You collect (only) three monsters and battle others (only at certain, random points that are not often. Maybe once a level).

These battles are very (not) fun and can be very easy(Yeah, right. I won most of the battles with luck after 23 tries.). You can (not) even play these battles with your friends!

Short, this game is terrible. Rent it and see. The only good, amazing and extremly fun part is the multiplayer "original" Bomberman battles. The old fun that still charms me.

I gave up with the story after awhile and just played that.

Then I sent it back.

This is definitely the weakest Bomberman game I've ever played, and I've played a lot of them, both 2-D and 3-D. I don't really like the graphic style, and the sound (especially the atrocious voice acting) is grating. Even the gameplay is pretty tedious, and gets old after just a short time. And, for some reason, there's this really annoying Professor character who's constantly giving you obvious directions like "Proceed through the cave" or "Climb up the mountain". Well, gee, Doc, thanks for shedding some light on the situation. Until you chimed in with your super-annoying voice, I honestly didn't know I was supposed to follow that clearly-marked path right in front of me.

And what the heck is Bomberman wearing around his neck, anyway?
